Gary J Rose - Author

For folks like me, this book is everything you could want. There's a shocking storyline, full of exciting twists and turns. There's a bit of romance. And there's levity. I would stop short of calling it like a "cozy mystery," but at the same time, the author seems to realize that life is what we make of it, and isn't afraid to let her characters laugh and recognize the irony of small moments, or just live in the present sometimes. To me, that's what makes this such an engaging story and a great series - I want the high stakes plot, but I don't want to be crying the whole time I'm reading the book or feeling like the world is just going to heck in a handbasket (I have CNN for that).

The 5th Jeannie Loomis novel in its series, Time Game is an intriguing story that avoids the pitfalls of its well worn subject matter by always managing to add an unexpected twist or two. For those that read like me, and those that don't - but enjoy a good out-of-the-ordinary good guys vs bad guys story - I highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this book. It's quite timely discussing the issues that law enforcement face. While others may not appreciate the political aspect, and maybe some jabs at a certain party, I found it to be an honest, nice touch. The book also has a great story of vengeance thrown in there, which I also really liked. Overall, this was a fantastic book.

Epic crime thriller

This well-written thriller really draws you in quickly with excellent character development, fast-paced action and good writing. The protagonist is a flawed and driven woman whose life has been devoted to justice, leaving her without children or a mate. FBI Agent Jeannie Loomis has unfinished business and even a conspiracy of epic proportions won't stop her. Hard to put this one down. When you're finished, you'll be wanting more.
